What began as a spark of an idea many months ago has grown into something truly special—an organization created to help young musicians nurture their talent by providing access to instruments, mentorship, and opportunities. INSTRUMENTAL supports not only musical growth but also confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of music.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the profound encouragement, talent, and generosity of others. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, energy, and brilliance to help bring this organization to life: Cecilia Doyle, David Taylor, Harp Arora, Sarah Sniderman, Thompson Tran, Bryn Gladding, Janet Straker, and the incredible music educators of Eastwood’s Integrated Arts Program—Matthew Drysdale, Kirsten Hunsberger-Shortt, and Lauren Helmer. And of course, to my constant inspiration and muse, my son, Benjamin Hopkins. You are all truly INSTRUMENTAL.
